On 18th of November 2009, Teleprecision-MTS S.R.L. organized the half a day seminar called: "Optical Familiarisation Day".
The seminar presented equipments and fundamentals of optical communication like Fusion splicing / Mechanical splicing, OTDR features and principles, FTTX solutions, Fiber identifiers, Light source and Power Meter Testing, Cable types, use and construction, Connector basics and types and many others.
The participants were representatives of Internet Service Providers, Telecom, CCTV and FO services contracting companies wishing to optimize the performance of their FO networks and to ensure delivery of high quality services. The knowledge and the necessary understanding for a successful business have been offered using the extensive experience of Fujikura in designing, developing and providing FO competitive solutions.

The event was completed by a workshop so each of the attendees had the possibility to test live the presented equipments.
